I have to agree with the review by SeattleSkyQueen. I've stayed there for business a number of years ago, and the rooms and facilities really haven't changed. My wife and I stayed for our 25th anniversary. they had a great bottle of Korbel on ice waiting when we arrived (nice touch). We arrived before check-in, so we went to a... more

My husband and I frequently stay here while on business in the area, and I keep hoping that one of these times I'll arrive to find that the poor excuse for a fitness center has been updated. The equipment is old, the air freshener overpowers the senses and the quarters are claustrophobic. I'd love to walk or run outdoors but... more

Vintners Inn is exactly what we were looking for in our tour through Wine Country on a break from our San Francisco trip. Don't be scared off by the proximity to the highway or the power plant as you approach. As soon as you turn into the driveway you are transported to a completely different place. Quiet and relaxing is... more

We stayed at the Vintner's Inn for three nights in July, 1908. A short two hour drive from San Francisco. We arrived at 2:30 PM and enjoyed walking around the Inn grounds till our room was ready at 4:00 PM as promised. The style and decor of the Inn is old European and is in spotless condition. Every room is... more

This is exactly the type of place I was hoping we would find in the wine country. The grounds were beautiful, and we loved seeing the vineyard right outside our patio door. Everyone was very friendly and we were more than pleased with our stay there. I debated quite a while before making a decision as to where to stay... more

Wow! What a pleasant surprise and a fine hotel. The grounds and the rooms were both immaculate. John Ash & Co Restaurant on the property was an enjoyable experience. Highly recommended. more

We loved the Vintners Inn! It had exactly the charm we expected during a quick weekend getaway in wine country. When you pull in to the driveway (at least, in the evening) you are greeted by vineyards, flowers, rose bushes, brick buildings, and twinkle lights. So pretty! We stayed in one of the upstairs junior suites, which was fantastic-- a... more

We read the reviews on this site and liked the location of Vintners. Went at the end of May for wine tasting in the area and it was wonderful. Flowers were in full bloom and the property was beautiful. Very quiet. We ate at John Ash one night for our anniversary and had a fantastic meal. Comp. breakfast was plenty.... more

We spent two nights at The Vintners Inn near Santa Rosa just an hour from the hustle and bustle of San Francisco. We stayed in an upstairs fireplace room which was so cozy and comfortable with lovely views of the vineyard. The John Ashe restaurant had a really nice ambience with wonderful food and wine and good service. We sat... more

We just returned from a 2 1/2 week tour of California, and the Vintner's Inn was the nicest accommodation on our trip. Our room (really a suite) was excellent -- very plush. We got a great deal on Travelzoo that included two gift bottles of wine (in addition to the normally provided half-bottle of fume blanc). Although others have also... more
