MacArthur Place is lovely. The original inn began with accomodations in the Manor House. Now the property has several buildings, all maintained beautifully. The grounds are amazing, with attractive landscaping and lush gardens complete with whimsical metal sculptures and water features. We decided to stay here during the first leg of our honeymoon - while we explored Sonoma. The location in proximity to the Sonoma wineries is fantastic. The accomodations were rustic reminiscent with a modern atmosphere. nice place. wasn't real crowded. rooms are clean and well appointed. pool is small. gym is really small. grounds are lovely. not really walking distance to downtown sonoma. at 399, about right for the area. on site restaurant is ok. the downtown square is great for walking and browsing. more
