My team stayed here for a weekend soccer tournament . Most of the rooms in town were booked except for this motel and now we know why. Most of the rooms were small and not so clean. Us kids had a great time on the field but we went to the community center to avoid staying at the dirty motel.... more

Love this place! My husband and I have stayed here several times in the last three years, the last time in October of 2007. We have stayed during all four seasons of the year. We have never had trouble with the a/c or heater. We love the convenience of the kitchenette. Frankly, this is one of the most charming places... more

Folks were told the property was recently renovated but it did not appear to be . The sheets looked dirty or stained and threadbare, would think that any respectable thrift shop would not sell the linens that the hotel used for the room. The a/c did not work well, in short the place was run down . It appeared that... more

What a disappointment this place was. When we initially called, I told them that we were looking for a place to stay "downtown", in the historic district of Durango. The woman who took the call said, "Oh, we are right downtown, not far from the Durango-Silverton train station." Well, this motel is no where near the train station. It is... more

Situated a little way out of downtown Durango this quaint Motel has evrything I needed for a good stay. The log cabin/pine panelled interior tickled my girlfriend who thought it was a great place. Clearly a family run place we were greeted by the recetionist (daughter?) who was polite friendly and pleasant. The reservation was there waiting and check in... more

A real treat! This simple "ma and pa" motel was like a step back in time. Clean, attractive and funky. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, comfortable place to stay in Durango. more

We booked a motel room for 2 nights after reading the great reviews on this site.... what a mistake. To start, I was quoted a price of $92 dollars a night for a double queen room. I booked the room and received a confirmation the same day. A couple of days later I got an e-mail from the owner saying... more

This motel was built in the 50's and is kept up IMMACULATELY by the inn keepers. We had two rooms here in July 2007 and each was completely different (one was paneled in knotty pine) but each beautifully cared for. You can't even begin to hope for this quality at this price. FORGET the big chains and support a local... more

Arrived in Durango with no reservations and a terrible migraine. Was lucky enough to get a room here. The bed was so comfortable, the room clean and beautiful and reasonable rates. The owner was friendly, courteous and very helpful more
