We couldn't have been happier with our choice. It was beautiful, charming and welcoming. Deb and Tiffany were so friendly and made us feel right at home. The grounds are so pretty and relaxing you hate to leave for the day to go to your scheduled activities. We sat in the adirondack chairs by the creek and listened to the water... more

We loved the Lightner Creek Inn!!! The setting was wonderful...beautiful acreage, charming decor. The accomodations were terrific...the bed was very comfortable and the room pleasant and fairly roomy. The innkeeper, Deb, was delightful. Her breakfasts were very good and just the right size so you're not weighted down. Deb made recommendations for local restaurants which turned out to be right... more

We booked this B&B after researching online those available in the Durango area and were pleasantly surprised since you never really know what you are going to get! The room was beautiful and offered a door straight out to the back patio which opened up to a huge yard with a gazebo and the creek. We loved the complimentary wine... more

This was a wonderful find. Relaxing, comfortable, luxurious and above all a very quiet and beautiful location. We would definitely stay again if ever we are in the Durango area. more

We stayed in the Alpine Hideaway room. The room was very spacious. Unfortunately, it was very, very warm overnight. The first night we had to have two fans blowing on us all night long. It was very uncomfortable. The next night we left the outside door open and that was much better. We did shut the door around 1 as... more

My son was married here in Sept. 06 and it couldn't have been a more perfect setting. The wedding and reception (which was catered) were right on the premises. We were able to reserve all the rooms at the inn for wedding guests to stay. Each room was quaint and decorated beautifully. There was a large living area off the... more

We stayed at Lightner Creek for our Honeymoon in December 2006. It was everything we had hoped for and more. We stayed in one of the suites and it was amazing. We had a huge (and incredibly comfortable) bed, a sweet little kitchen and jacuzzi tub that was the perfect remedy after a day on the slopes! Every day we... more

I don't know if it was the snowy weather or being away, alone, with my wife for a few days, but this fabulous Durango B & B stole our respective hearts. We stayed for 4 nights so we got to know Scott the Innkeeper and his talented and attentive staff. Following our arrival we partook of the Inn's excellent on... more

My daughter and I stayed at the Lightner Creek Inn in August, 2006, while visiting Fort Lewis College. We had initially only planned to stay one night at this beautiful B&B, but had such a relaxing time, that we ended up staying for three nights. We are probably the only guests that Scott and Ellen have ever had that have... more

This is a great inn. The rooms are comfortable and the breakfasts are incredible. When we were there the weather was awful, but our stay was improved by the friendliness of the innkeepers (and their adorable kids) and the guests. Little touches like free wireless internet and a washer and dryer were appreciated. A wine and cheese table in the... more
