My seven year old son and I spent four nights here during spring break. The receptionist was helpful and accommodating. The room was clean. We were out at the ski area for most of the day every day, but whenever we came back we were greeted warmly and welcomed. The staff was also friendly to my son, who was fascinated... more

We recently stayed at the Super 8 in Durango, Colorado because we were playing golf at the Dalton Ranch Golf Resort. On check in, we were given a basket of goodies which, along with the obligatory shampoo and soap, included 2 full size deodorants, 4 Nature Valley granola bars, 3 Dentyne Ice gum samples, Garnier Nutrisse shampoo and conditioner samples,... more

Desk staff was extremely nice! Went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Rooms were the cleanest we have stayed in on our 18 day trip! Breakfast was pretty small, but after all, it is a continental breakfast, not a restaurant! We had a wonderful stay and will definately be back!! more

The sixth night of an eight-night/nine-day vacation in southwest Colorado was spent at the Super 8 in Durango, just a couple miles south of downtown Durango and the Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Depot. There were no restaurants close to the hotel. A couple years ago I had a bad experience at a different Super 8 and always check... more

Based on previous TripAdvisor reviews, you’re probably going to think I have exceptionally low standards, or am very easy-to-please since I was very satisfied during the 2 nights I stayed at the Super 8. My husband and I didn’t plan on staying here but our accommodations at a Best Western in Durango were so poor we checked out early. I’ll... more

Beware - this motel keeps impressions of your credit card for 180 days. When I complained they sent me a form letter saying it was motel policy. Also, I requested 2 non smoking rooms, and the bathroom of the room my daughter stayed in smelled like smoke. Super 8 passed my complaint on to the franchise owner. So beware of... more

This motel did serve us well as a place to sleep but the room was small and cramped and the place smelled funny. The front desk staff was rude about me trying to catch my four year old as she tried to run away from me. The "SuperStart Plus" breakfast was far from continental breakfast, it was one cereal, old... more

Confirmed non-smoking - got room that reeked. Desk personnel did not care, would not do anything for us. Had to find another hotel room at a greatly increased price. Will never stay at Super 8 anywhere again. Adivse that NOBODY stay at Super 8 motels. more

We have stayed in this Super 8 Motel several times. The rooms have always been clean and the managment has always been helpful when needed. I have noticed however the parking gets worse each year. Large trucks are taking up five to six spaces. And as we all know the parking at almost all motels is not that good to... more
