Yes, it is new, convenient, clean. But even with my discount, a single night ran me over $125. Other hotels within a ten mile radius are a bit more reasonable. The free breakfast was o.k., about what you'd expect. But if you're on a budget, try elsewhere. more

Stayed here for work. Waterbury is not that great of a place...there is nothing to do, nothing to see, and is kind of depressing. But this hotel is pretty nice. My room was a good size w/fridge and microwave, bed was comfortable, lots of TV channels and movie choices for those nights you just don't feel like working. Try to... more

Located immediately off the I-84 off ramp, this little oasis was well-kept, modern, and had a pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Complementary breakfast in the morning, free in-room wireless internet, television with movie channels, and new comfort beds. An extremely pleasant hotel for business or even just a break from the highway. more

It's a miracle? Somewhere decent to stay in Waterbury. We have tried most of the hotels in the area and never been very happy. Hampton Inn was really nice and we stayed 3 nights. We will return. Breakfast was the only weak spot but there are several local choices that are good and cheap. more

My wife and I spent one night here while traveling through the New England States. Hotel is very convenient to the interstate. Lobby and rooms were very clean, staff at front desk were very nice and helpful. Very good free breakfast. Only complaint we had was the outside scenery was not the best but we didn't stay there to stare... more

This is a very nice hotel. Right off the highway, new and very clean. Nice indoor pool. One of the best free breakfast buffets and a accomodating staff. We stayed here one night while visiting for a class reunion. We wanted the pool but found the pump had broken and it couldn't be used until check out day. We were... more

We stayed here one night while visiting the nearby Litchfield Hills area. Our 1 yr old son was with us as well. The property is very clean and feels brand new. It compares favorably with 4 stars hotels I've stayed at. It's close to the highways. Everything went very smooth and the staff was very helpful, though I didn't really... more

We stayed here on our way to South Jersey. We loved the hotel. It's new and beautiful with big huge beds, white down duvets fluffy pilllows, and a great breakfast. The staff was so pleasant and hospitable. The room was immaculate and the rates were absolutely wonderful. I'd stay there again in a minute if I were ever in the... more

We visit Waterbury on a somewhat regular basis (we have family there) and had been booking our stays at the Courtyard by Marriott in downtown Waterbury. The latest time we needed to visit Waterbury, the Courtyard was booked solid so I decided to try the Hampton Inn, having seen it from the highway. It is located right on Route 84... more

I find Hampton Inn to be near the top of the moderately-priced chain hotels in terms of quality, and the Waterbury location is no exception. If anything it's even a bit better than normal, in large part because it is relatively new. Rooms are comfortable and well-equipped with all the usual HI amenities. Large breakfast area off the main lobby... more
