We were lucky to book one night's stay at Cape Henlopen. Our stay was quiet and relaxing and fun. The park is a beautiful way to see Delaware beaches. Bring your bicycles. We really enjoyed our stay at Cape Henlopen state park. The sites on the outer loop offered some privacy and all sites were wooded. The ground was soft and sandy. We stayed there for 2 nights, and generally speaking It was not bad. The decisive factor for going there was the beach which is very nice. The cons of the campground were the mosquitoes ( as in any other campground) but above all were the flies that bite. I tried my Hot Shot flying insect killer, the sticky ribbon and... more

My Canadian family has just returned from what has been declared "Our best family vacation ever".
