We camped at Holly Lake Campground the weekend of September 8, 2007. We would NOT recommend it to anyone. It is in desperate need of major repairs. Website and pictures are misleading. The campground has not seen any repairs or cleaning for many years, we had to repair a picnic bench so we could use it. The bathrooms are barly useable and the uninvited guest we had all day long ( flys ). more

Friends of our family found Holly lakes campground while looking for another campground, the same ole scene came into play it was getting dark, kids were hungry and tired from the drive ,( back then we all tent camped), they had just wanted to find a spot to set up and eat and crash out for the night...The following day... more

We like camping at Holly Lake. I was looking for a campground last minute and every where else near the beach was booked. We were able to go there without a reservation and got a nice private site. Holly Lake is a very nice campground. The sites are large and you can choose between open or wooded. The bathrooms are only as clean as the people that use them. The campground was okay but it did have some problems. The bathrooms were nasty, and the campsites were burried in leaves that had fallen from the trees. They could have atleast raked them up. more
