Arrived at the hotel in a taxi, the driver kindly removed my suitcase from the boot and while I was paying I expected a bell boy to come and help with my luggage. There was a bell boy standing there and it looked as though when he saw me he ran off so that he didn't have to help. I... more

After 11 wonderful nights with my family at the Sea View I can only say the very best about this hotel. Beautiful large room, very clean, grandiose service from all staff members, perfect for children (mine is 15 months old). What makes the service special is the surprisingly wonderful cuisine of the hotel restaurant and the fact that you will... more

The hotel has kind of an old school look and feel. Overall it's a nice hotel, with a quiet oceanfont...one of the reasons why I selected the hotel. The drinks are the poolside bar are a little weak, and incidental charges for towels and the use of lounge chairs is a bit much for the caliber that the hotel fashions... more

Just returned from 4 nights at the Sea View in Bal Harbour. It's a wonderful, old school hotel. There are guests who have been coming back there for 50 years, and for good reason. It's a good quality, family type hotel where the staff greets you by name. Our room was an oceanview with a balcony. The room was large... more

we stayed here for three nights, it was a very nice hotel, elegant in the old fashioned way. we booked a bay view on a high floor so that was nice, the staff was friendly, nice size pool, the beach is right there, very nice walkway by the beach! The location was amazing, upper class, the bal harbour shopping is... more

Just back from a two week stay at the Sea View. We had originally booked the Regent in Bal Harbour, which was due to open on Jan 1, 2008, but got delayed (it had not yet opened as of February 10!) and so unfortunately we had to settle for the Sea View since we wanted to be in Bal Harbour... more

My sister and I visited during a weekend in January; the room was booked by a 3rd party (I won a trip to Miami with hotel, etc.) so we didn't comparison shop. The entrance and lobby were elegant and quaint in a vintage way. The concierge was very helpful and pleasant and offered suggestions for attractions, dining and offered to... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sea View in Bal Harbour, Florida. Every one of the staff with whom we had contact was exceptionally polite and helpful. Our trip was booked as a package deal through Expedia. Our only disappointment was the additional charge from the hotel for an upgrade to an ocean view/balcony room. Although we accepted, we... more

I went to the Sea View Hotel after not being in Miami for over a decade. After going through many of the other hotel web sites, I finally decided on this hotel for value and quality. On sites I visited this hotel was dubbed a three star which is what I was contented to settle with. Upon entrance into the... more
