This hotel was so clean and the people working there just wanted to make you happy! You can keep your room to whatever tempurature you desired. It took me a long time to finally right this review but i'm doing to now. We didn't eat at the hotel, there are two FANTSTIC resturaunts RIGHT NEXT TO THE HOTEL,the names i... more

This property is very convenient to access Crystal River and Homosassa. However, it wouldn't be somewhere I would want to spend a whole holiday at. We didn't find the dive shop rude like a previous reviewer - in fact they were friendly and I negotiated a great deal for a wetsuit/snorkel/mask etc. However, when we first tried to check in... more

We stayed at the Best Western because it has a marina and it allows dogs. The property is not fancy but it was clean. We did have some trouble with housekeeping. They came in our room when we had the DO NOT DISTURB sign up and didn't change our linens when we requested it the first time. But for the... more

The hotel was ok. All I have to say is that they had an excellent housekeeping service. Very friendly and efficient. I left my watch in the draw and they saved it for me until the next monday that I checked in again. They had a nice tiki bar right on the water. You can rent boats and diving stuff... more

Wanted to spend some Florida time away from tourist traps. The hotel is nice but not a resort. I has average rooms and an average pool. The tiki bar is average but the view is nice. There is a nice restraunt named Crackers next door. The dive shop staff were obviously bored and unhelpful. The hotel was very clean and... more

Hotel and staff very nice but BEWARE if you bring a boat. The owner of the dive shop at the hotel makes it difficult to allow you to launch your boat - of course thats because youre not renting from him. VERY ARROGANT! Saw him get nasty with few other people same day while using ramp that you are ENTITLED... more

We stayed at the Best Western for one night before a Manatee trip and had no issues. The room was basic and clean and we had no problems with noise though it was a weeknight. There was no restaurant in the hotel but there was a great Cuban sandwich place behind the pool area. It's definitely no resort but if... more

We spent 1 night here with an 8 year old and a 5 year old prior to an early morning manatee trip with Birds Underwater. The room was clean and comfortable but not particularly spacious, alright for 1 night but probably too cosy for a long stay. We asked for a late checkout as we were on the trip but... more

Nice room but it seemed overpriced. Front desk staff put me in a bad room even though the hotel wasn't even half full. I tried to rent a boat at the on-site shop and was told the boats were all reserved for scuba divers and that I should try another resort called 'The Plantation House'. I didn't see any of... more

We stayed here for one night because there are very few hotels in this area, and this one seemed to be the most decent choice. The rooms are old and small, but pretty clean. There is a pool, but not what you would expect from a hotel that refers to itself as a resort. If you are a fisherman it... more
