We didn't even make it one night. It wasn't even that bad that our room was directly across from the elevators and you could hear everything, the room was stale and awful. I'm not picky, but I couldn't even stand to walk barefoot on the carpet and I'm from Florida! I wear sandels everywhere, being barefoot isn't a new thing.... more

We booked 5 days at El Caribe and was in room 503. Very nice veiw and the room was very clean...however ...NEVER.....STAY THERE DURING SPRING BREAK....we checked out early because we couldnt get any sleep. The El Caribe is very competitively priced and has a wonderfull beach access thats not as crowded as further North, but be aware that you get what you pay for. When I made my reservation, the clerk said I would be in one of the direct oceanfront efficiency rooms on the 5th floor (specified the room number).
