Stayed at the Sandpiper for the second time this year, as a girls' getaway weekend in Ft. Myers Beach. The location and beach are great, it's why we keep coming back to the area. We have stayed at the Sand Piper in the past. This year was a bit of a disappointment. The outside areas are not being maintained very well. I noticed several cigarette buts around the plants. Pressure washing has not happened in a long time. A staff member told us one of the maintenance personnel is out with a broken leg... more

Sandpiper is somewhere that you want to stay over and over again. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are willing to go out of their way to find anything you need. The rooms are VERY clean and completely stocked with everything you need to never leave your room. The grocery store is less then 1/2 a mile away... more

This hotel is right on the beach. We stayed in the Sandpiper II which had the adult pool in front of it. We had a side room with an island view, but standing on the balcony we could see the ocean and beach. The room was decorated nicely, with a nice little kitchenette and dining table.
