We had a wonderful time at the Neptune Inn! Spent 3 nights at the Neptune with my friend for a girls getaway. We met Sharon at the front desk while checking in. What a wonderful lady! She couldn't have made us feel more welcome. She put us in a lower level efficiency room very close to the beach. This room... more

The Neptune Inn was a little touch of Paradise. We were in the newly renovated north wing. It was great with two tvs, one a flat screen. The grounds are very well kept and manicured and about 20 feet from the gulf (at high tide). It had mini fridge, microwave, and a two burner stove which really saves on eating... more

Last july/ august we spend our two week vacation in Neptune Inn and enjoyed our stay very much! The staff is great, warm-hearted and serviceminded! The pools were satisfactory and the beach was within a stone's throw. The only demerits are the outdated and worn out interior of the rooms in the southwing and a daily environment which is less... more

Well, me and my family planned a two night three day vacation. We booked the Neptune Inn because everything was booked. When we arrived at the hotel we were very surprised at how dated the hotel was and how small the beds were. The bathroom was very unsanitary. And there was no microwave only a very very small oven. The... more

We stayed for a week at the Neptune Inn for our annual getaway as a couple. The hotel is partially renovated. One half is all done with all new rooms and furniture. The other half is very dated and appears it hasn't been updated in 20+ years. We started in a room on the older side - but had to... more

All rooms poolside and facing sideways to the ocean. Kitchenette ok once we found the electric outlet for the toaster on the stove´s front panel. You had to put the toaster on the stove for using it. Dishwashing liquid is provided but you have to wash your own dishes. Lovely beach with a special treat of a turtle´s nest. Parking... more

Well, having had two other stays in Fort Myers Beach, one at the Pink Shell Resort in 2003 and one at the Edison Beach House in 2004, I can compare abit. This year we were looking to stay further south on the beach, for alittle peace and quiet, and to get alittle bit of a bargain. Neptune Inn was very... more

We just stayed at the Neptune Inn over the Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The hotel set up is perfect if you have children, and if you want both the pool and beach experience. The pool is right off the beach and you can see the ocean view while swimming. It is perfect. We have 2 little... more

I booked the Neptune Inn because it got good reviews and looked like the type of place I used to stay at when I was a kid...and wanted that same feel for my children. I was not disappointed but rather pleasantly surprised. It is an older resort but the property has been really cared for. The grounds (although simple) are... more

The Neptune, right in the heart of the Ft. Myers Beach strip, has a new and "older" section. We had been booked (using an internet travel site) into the older section and asked for and were given a free upgrade to the new section as there was one available. Management is local and problems were handled well. The hotel is... more
