We only stayed here for 1 night on our way up from Key West but could have stayed much longer! We had the two rooms on the second floor which were both spotless with lovely furniture. The pool is really nice for relaxing by aswell as a little beach area which we didn't have time to use. The fire alarm... more

We made our way up from Key West to meet our friends at Tarpon flats. We were surprised to be driving into a housing area but what a nice location. The property is located on a little point of land projecting into the water. At the end of the point is a little beach area with chairs for watching the... more

The room was very spacious. Every morning breakfast was delivered, though one morning the croissants were moldy and the fruit not very fresh. The bathroom needed work---the shower curtain was moldy and we felt it was kind of dirty overall. An actual bath tube would have been nice too. Carol , the innkeeper, was very friendly and helpful giving suggestions... more

My husband and I have stayed at numerous B&B's through the years. The concept here is a little different in that they bring the breakfast to your room and you can brew your own coffee. This gave us more flexibility in the morning and we did not have to socialize over breakfast with strangers. The room is actually a lovely... more

The rooms are like a mini condo. kitchen area, living room area bed and bathroom. the setting is at their own marina on... more

I arrived at Tarpon Flats on Christmas Eve afternoon, in the middle of a trropical downpour, and immediately felt at home. A note was waiting to welcome me and the other guests already knew who I was and that I'd been headed up from Key West (as part of a road trip). The inn is absolute tranquility. It's down a... more

My husband and I got married April 27 2007. The first stop on our Florida Keys honeymoon was Tarpon Flats in Key Largo. We got there after check in time and everything was so easy...the keywas left for us and we picked out our breakfast for the next day. I was amazed at how BEAUTIFUL and clean Tarpon Flats was.... more

It's a lengthy and tiring process getting to, and then gaining admission to the United States these days. That ordeal, coupled with a rather surreal car rental experience at Alamo left us wondering if we shouldn't just have gone to The Med like usual. But those thoughts soon faded away after just half an hour at Tarpon Flats. It really... more
