We have stayed at this property in the past & always loved it. This time it was our 20th anniversary & We had just a short time to get away. We looked at other places for about & hour & again returned to The lovely oasis of the Almond Tree. The manager Jose, was courteous and even remembered us from... more
This is a great place! My family of 5 stayed here Aug. 12 and 13. We had a 2 bedroom queen suite, rm 111. A sofa bed, table and chair and armoire with TV filled the room which was nicely decorated in a British Colonial scheme. The beds were on the firm side, but comfortable. The gounds are very lush... more
After making a last minute decision to travel to Key West for the first time, my wife and I had no reservations and only an idea to stay in Key West for a couple nights. I walked off the street and through the front door, met Kim -who was wonderfully kind - and booked a room, and was unsure as... more
The Almond Tree is in a fantastic location, just round the corner from Duval Street, and a 10 minute walk down Duval Street to Mallory Square. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. The whole atmosphere is very chilled out. There is a great little pool and hot tub, and very pretty bijou grounds – we had a mini-waterfall and... more
This place was great. Initially, I didn't want to stay here because it didn't seem as nice as some other places based on the pictures. Boy, was I wrong. This place was a wonderful respite from busy Duval, but smack in the middle of everything. It was great. Wonderful staff, happy hour, and breakfast. I would totally stay here again.... more
My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Almond Tree Inn last week. It's ideally located, near the Hemingway House and a short walk down to the must-see tourist-laden Duval Street and Mallory Square sunset shows. The hotel has a large pool and hot tub, lush landscaping, and competent caring employees. They really made us feel at... more
Staff was courteous and helpful. Happy hour should have a person behind the counter at all times; however, not many places have a happy hour such as this one so beggars can't be choosers. Lovely landscape with the fish ponds and tropical plants surrounding gave it a Caribbean feel. The rooms were spacious and luxurious with more than enough pillows.... more
My partner and I were booked in for 3 nights but ended up staying 5 because we loved it so much. Extrememly well taken care of and really friendly staff. The courtyard is a lovely oasis with pool with a waterfall in it, hot tub and gorgeous, lush greenery everywhere.....little lights wrapped around the palm trees gave it a great... more
The room was beautiful, the flowers in the reception were beautiful, the whole Inn was done with great taste and style. We enjoyed staying at the Almond Tree very much. The room had 2 double beds and a sofa bed (which was very comfortable): we all slept well. There was a lovely terrace area on the 2nd floor (1st floor... more
