Stayed for 7 days as a base for visiting Theme Parks etc in the Orlando area. Service was excellent, room large and view good. Location very convenient for SeaWorld, Acquatica, also good for Disney and Universal. Breakfast buffet good value if you made the effort to have a good start to the day. The only negative was the insistence on... more

Our entire purpose was to go to the Ritz and spend a couple of days at the great spa. We have been to the spa many times before, and they are fantastic when they get it right, but REALLY ANNOYING when they get it wrong, which seems to twenty percent of the time. Yesterday we were at the spa pool... more

I stayed here with my family when it first opened-and it was not very busy. Apparently that was a good thing because it was really top flight. I just had the displeasure of spending three days there on business. What a clunker-mistake after mistake. They delivered my bags to the wrong room and it took hours to find them; my... more

Stayed at the Orlando Ritz for 3 nights 4/08. Attended a business conference solo and was very impressed with this hotel. I received a quick orientation from one of the managers after check in and on the way to the elevator - nice touch. Room 351 was a oversized king room that faced the spa. Furnishings, fixtures and attention to... more

Let's get the negatives out of the way first. As previous reviewers have noted, the hotel uses an outside company that supplies town cars for transportation. We attempted to pre book our arrival pick up and departure on line - and it was bungled at every turn. It is too long to relate all the negatives with this (and I... more

My wife and I stayed for a Sunday thru Tuesday March 9-11visit. We were greeted and taken care of from the time we pulled in with our rental car through our check out. We were there on a company paid visit. I was a little taken back that the only parking was valet, no self parking. My normal hotel travel... more

Was there for a conference and was impressed (highly) with the facilities. Luxury destination on all counts. Spacious, first class, well mantained and excellent but discreet service. Good food / restaurants and only 10 minutes from Epcot/MGM-Disney Hollywood Studios, and 5 min from Sea World. Only down side is the price - not for the thrifty. more

First, I will explain that we expect the best when we travel. We always stay at the best hotels and are very demanding and we watch everything, from the service to the food, very carefully. From the moment we arrived, the Ritz philosophy was in full force. Our daughter loved the lemonade beautifully arranged in the lobby. I was impressed... more

We booked the Ritz in Orlando for a family vacation with my wife and 2 year old. The main reason we booked the hotel was to use the facilities at the adjacent JW Marriot, which was sold out. This was the first time we've stayed at a Ritz Carlton and we truly enjoyed the spoiling experience that only the Ritz... more

My family and I visited the Ritz over the President's Day Weekend. WOW! Were we were pleasantly surprised with the resort. The children (7 years old) enjoyed the warm pools, and thought the Marriot pools next door were too chilly to swim in. Beds comfortable, and the family rate package we had was great since we had two connecting rooms... more
