It was fairly clean, very basic. The sheets were stiff, no surprise. The halls were a little dirty. Breakfast was basic. We stayed the night of September 9 and were given a room with 2 queens rather than the one bed we'd booked. The room decor and amenities are basic, with a few special touches, like a towelette for removing make-up and fancy-folded washclothes. Our group of WWII veterans received the best hospitality at Microtel. All our party was grouped together in one wing of the hotel. The meeting room was available to us in the evenings for us to gather. Great staff and service. more
