My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 1-year anniversary. We stayed at the Bayfront Marin House Inn, bed and breakfast, in St. Augustine. I was surprised to read some bad reviews about this B&B. We loved it...the best B&B we've stayed in Florida. We stayed in the Francisco Marin Room which is probably the oldest room there. We just got back from staying at this Bed & Breakfast and were very disappointed! We decided to stop in St. Augustine with our two toy dogs and were trying to find something pet friendy. We stayed in the Bridge of Lions room - fine big comfortable room with a jacuzzi bath in the bedroom - curious but nice. Bay window - nice. Our bathroom had a proper door unlike some other comments. parking either outside in street if space or not too far away in a lot. Nice first floor verandah with comfy chairs.... more

The Bayfront Marin House at 142 Avenida Menendez St. is not listed in the B&B's on this sight. (It is not the Bayfront House or whatever is listed here - see different address). This House is the sister house to the Wescott House - right next door, facing the bay also. It is a lovely home and breakfast is served... more

My husband and I just stayed here for the second time. The first time it was in the Francisco Marin Room, which was luxurious to say the least! Great jacuzzi tub and soft SOFT bedding....completely romantic! On the down side, since the room is part of the original structure, the windows are street level and let noise in. Good thing... more
