Booked this hotel on arrival in St Augustine Beach area having been quoted a ludicrous rate across the street at the Hampton Inn and Suites. $89 dollars compared to $149. Hotel was very nice. Just across the street from the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean. Rooms had a fridge and microwave in them. Some of the old reviews have commented unfavorably on the breakfasts here. It seems to me as if that problem has been adressed. This hotel was convenient to our relatives' rented condo and was nicely appointed. The staff were also very accomodating, and free internet access was convenient. I saw the review recommending "eat breakfast at the Denny's downtown" instead of the breakfast buffet. We were about to do that (as we like Denny's) but said "nah, too hungry to drive."
