Stayed over night on our way elsewhere. Nice very clean suites, we went in winter but the road may be very busy in the summer. A couple of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Nice, fairly busy village centre 3 or 4 miles away. Small heated pool on site. Half the suites had been renovated work appeared to be in... more

My husband and I often visit Siesta Key to visit family and the beautiful beaches. I was sceptical at first but loved it. It's a quick drive and much nicer than alot of the hotels directly on Siesta. Conveniently located, comfortable and clean. We had a living room with a kitchenette area and a separate bedroom. Very cute and we... more

3 Oct 2007 By a TripAdvisor user. Guided by the ratings already given, we chose to stay at this hotel at the end of September. Comfortable, clean and spacious, the suite was effectively a very nice self-contained apartment. No problems at all to report - everything worked and the staff were friendly and helpful. An excellent find. JB more

While the flashy facade had me worried, the minute I stepped into the wildly spacious suite (sweet!) I must admit I was quite impressed - the separate lounging area and bedroom, the double sinks, full refrigerator/stove/toaster/everything-you-might-need makes this a wise choice for anyone who is going to be in town for a few days. The staff were super-friendly and helpful,... more

Great suites, great location to drive to beach, less than 5 minutes away. Owners and staff at check in very nice and helpful. They even printed out mapquest so we could find Tropicana Field to attend a baseball game.Siesta Key beach is just beautiful would love to stay here again. more

Because of the style and apparent age of the hotel, we were a little nervous about what we would find when we arrived at the Hibiscus. We only stayed one night, but would recommend it for those planning an extended trip to the area on a budget. It's not fancy and it's not within easy walking distance to major tourist... more

Your first impression is alarm, when you lay your eyes on this small garish, pink 1960s building with spring-breakers cavorting in the parkinglot pool. The plumber was working in our unit when we checked in. The toilet had backed up. Lovely! And we had to call him twice during our stay to get the hot water working. On the plus... more

We stayed at Hibiscus Suites Inn from April 29 to May 1, 2007. Our suite was spotless. The full kitchen included two complimentary bottles of water, which I thought was super. The bathroom towels were very fluffy (I can't stand a cheap towel) and they provide little spa shampoos and lotions and soaps. The pool was really nice with a... more

We stayed at the Hibiscus in March07. We had a great reception from the hotel staff, nothing was too much trouble eg early check-in, booking taxis, etc. The hotel is in a very safe location and just a 15 min walk from Siesta Key beach. The pool is heated year round. The suites are spacious and comfortable. There's a great... more

We stayed for 3 nights at this property. It was very clean and recently updated. The kitchen was fully equiped and the staff kept it clean and tidy. We loved being able to relax in a roomy suite at the end of a long day. Upon arrival we were somewhat turned off by the location. It was on a busy... more
