I found the reviews posted previous to this one accurate in both the advantages and disadvantages of the Kenilworth. To try and offer information not previously covered, I would highly recommend requesting room 336 or one of the "Jacuzzi Suites" if you can manage the steps. The elevator is small and extremely slow. I go every year and visit this large hotel that is reminiscent of earlier times. Fortunately this historic landmark has been preserved instead of destroyed and replaced by condos as so many older buildings have. If you like old historical places then its ok. I would rather stay in newer hotels. Thats just me. This hotel is inexpensive and the staff is very courteous. Also the Greek restaurant next door is very good if you are in for a lot of food at a good price. more

We stayed at the Kenilworth because we wanted to bicycle in a non-urban area, and we were very pleased with the results. The front desk gave us maps of good bicycle routes. the hotel is 90 years young and still going strong..........we stayed in a small cottage alongside the pool.......this is not fancy, but very clean and convenient.........breakfast in the morning was quite good........ the hotel/golf package can't be beat.
