My family of 6stayed at the Parkwood for 2 days and we booked 2 rooms. It is directly across the street from the Naval Air Station and a block from a Starbucks and restaurants. The rooms were immaculate and quite large. The shower had excellent water pressure. The lobby had fresh cookies and popcorn for free (the kids loved this!)... more

After flying into Portland International Airport, we rented a car and drove to Brunswick, ME after shopping in Freeport all day, and checked into the Parkwood Inn Hotel. It was a pleasant surprise, as it was very clean and obviously well run. The front desk staff was helpful and polite and there was free (and fresh!) popcorn available for snacking.... more

After 8 exhausting hours of travel the Park Wood was like a mirage. The staff was attentive, the room large and clean, the finger food was a welcome site , the pool was a fantastic respite for my two children after a grueling trip in Saturday traffic coming up from NJ. It was everything I could hope for. more

I was a little nervous upon my recent trip to Brunswick, Maine for business. I normally tend to stay in chain properties when travelling on business, mainly so I can rack up frequent flyer points. I would normally stay at the Marriott Fairfield Inn in Brunswick, but it was sold out recently, and so I decided to try the Parkwood... more

We asked for dinner recommendations and they referred us to Captain Mike's. It's a quiet town, so not much to offer, but Captain Mike's was great. Excellent scallops! The breakfast buffet... more

After getting married my husband and I were looking for a hotel that was romantic and classy, but not overpriced. The Parkwood was a great choice! When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly staff and congratulated and upon entering our suite the fireplace was crackling and the champagne already on ice with small cakes on a platter for... more

This is the best kept secret in Maine!! We've stayed on numerous occasions in various types of rooms and have never been disappointed. The rooms are clean and spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The microwave, fridge and jacuzzi tub (many rooms have them) are great! The complimentary breakfast includes a wide variety of items and in the afternoon... more
