Fortunately, my job allows me to stay in many university hotels. The Kellogg Center was among the tops I've stayed in. I stayed here for one night following an event I attended on Michigan State's campus. The hotel is within walking distance of the stadium and edge of campus. Pros: Rooms were very modern, front desk very helpful, the shower/bathtub... more

I stayed in the Kellogg in June. The rooms were comfortable but small, as we had heard. They were quite dark, very nice beds, though. Luckily I was sharing with my sister – it wasn’t so good for the people who had to share with someone they didn’t know. The restaurant had a cheapish menu outside but when we went... more

This was my second time staying at the Kellogg Center for a weeklong conference. My first trip was uneventful and I decided to stay again for the convenience...big mistake! Let me tell you first that the desk staff is very friendly & helpful and the rooms are clean. The rooms are also very small and the bathrooms are even smaller.... more

I stayed here overnight recently since I attended a conference. I booked a deluxe room (much larger than their standard room) which included a comfortable king sized bed, small sitting area, and work desk. It was quite modern and immaculate. The bathroom was rather small, as previous reviewers mentioned. There was a showerhead with just a curtain, in the toilet/sink... more

The hotel is newly remodeled with a variety of room sizes and european type bathroom facilities. The smaller rooms are tastefully designed and have a small working area. The dining room and hotel staff service is excellent. They have fee wireless and a nice conference facility. more

We had the luxury category room and we found it to be very nice. The king bed was extremely comfortable and we especially enjoyed the 10+ pillows. The room was very large (almost twice the size of that standard room), with a barrel style chair, sofa bed, workstation, and 27" flat-panel LCD television. Yes, the bathroom was pretty small and... more

Have stayed here many times. On the plus side: beautiful location on the banks of the Red Cedar River, free use of campus pools and athletic facilities, and CBC on the cable (the only Lansing hotel offering a Canadian channel). My first room had a key card /door problem so I switched rooms. Same problem: either the key card or... more

We are staying here for the Connected Math Conference in June 2007. It is the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, period. *There Is No Shower!* It's simply a showerhead in the corner of the bathroom. Hey, if you fall out of one bed, good news.....you just roll onto the other one! Plus, the staff is very rude... more

I stayed four nights at this property in early April 2007 to attend a series of business meetings and was quite satisfied with my stay. The first thing to keep in mind is that the hotel and conference center is a working lab for MSU's hospitality school. Considering many members of the staff are students, I found the service to... more

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel in September 2006. We booked our room directly with the hotel, which is often key to getting a better room at any hotel. The room was small and the bathroom was tiny. The food was excellent and the service was good. The location is very good and the covered parking would be... more
