Stay away from this overpriced bungalows. We pay too much for what we get, the bathroom didn't work properly and the receptionist and owner didn't gave us a satisfactory answer so we move to Zihuanatejo, after two (of 7) days. The restaurant was ok, but once again overpriced. We went there specialy for the surf break, but If your are specting... more

We just returned from our holiday, celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary, at the Inn.l My husband and I visited 2 years ago, and found the property more beautiful than we remembered! This is such a special place, and we love just hanging at the beach, reading, and eating in their fablous restaurant. We've been in the Zihuatanejo area, six times... more

The rooms are small and dark and overpriced. Very nice restaurant, but it's overpriced and noisy. Pool is great and grounds are kept nicely. Decent place to surf nearby although while I was there surf was much better a little farther north. The staff are accomodating. more

I stayed here while on a reconnaissance mission for a longer stay in the area. The Inn is in a great location with a nice, inclusive layout. The pool is a definite plus - especially for kids. The housekeeping staff were phenomenal. The management were extremely rude and unprofessional. Several instances occurred such as; 1. them messing up a scheduled... more

In Zihua/Ixtapa, you'll get mega-plex resorts...if that's what you like...But you will not find that in Troncones. For me, those are places where everything is provided but is overpriced, noisy, and endless hosted activities never allow for true peace and quiet. Our stay at the Inn at Manzanillo Bay in Troncones offered beauty and quiet relaxation without the crowds and... more

We just returned from a week in Zihua, Ixtapa, Troncones. Having never been to the area before, we relied on online reviews, tour books and property websites to select our lodgings. The Inn at Manzanillo Bay has a lovely website, and gets excellent reviews in various guide books (see words like "luxe" and "chef-run kitchen." What we found was a... more

We booked room number 9 which is located over the restaurant/bar. This turned out to be a noisy room with diners and drinkers talking until 10 pm or so and breakfast dishes clanging as your wake up call. It is also over the office so the phone would wake us up in the morning. They would not give us a... more

I stayed at the Inn at Manzanillo Bay for 6 nights in February 2008, and I could not have been more pleased with the entire experience. I read the many reviews of the Inn, and I noticed a common theme from the negative reviews: the negatives came from people who did not stay at the Inn. The hotel sits at... more

The Inn at Manzanillo Bay was recommended to us by a friend and it definitely lived up to the sterling recommendation. The location was beautiful with the most amazing surf breaks as well as sunsets. Food was delicious - especially the fish tacos and homemade guacamole. Our room was spotless and whatever eco cleaning products they used smelled great. One... more

The Inn at Manzanillo Bay, Mexico on the Pacific side May 11-14, 2007 The bungalows were modest but nice. No air conditioning at the Inn at all. Only ceiling fans and small floor fans. Nets above beds are not just for looks; there are insects. There were 12 of us. Some were bothered by insects, others were not. The grounds... more
