I stopped in St Joseph because I was too tired to continue driving to my destination of Omaha. They had one room left for $75. The room and the hallways had that cheap motel smell to it. I decided to stay at the Hampton Inn after a very long and full day. I was very pleased with the room. For a chain-type hotel with reasonable rates I was very surprised to find the room, etc. very clean and the atmosphere very inviting. I thought that I was staying at a much more upscaled hotel. This hotel is very accommodating; rooms are clean/comfortable/quiet. Desk service was top rate. I'd stay again and recommend it to anyone. more
