If I had read the reviews before booking a room at this hotel, I would have gone elsewhere. As it stands, the Rodeway Inn website is not entirely accurate in it's description of the property. They describe the hotel as "newly renovated". Yeah, maybe in 1990. The exterior suffers from peeling paint and general lack of maintenance. The interior of... more

Shabby, paying on a Saturday way over the top. Reception on a Sunday did not open till 7.30. When attempting to phone out, the phone did not work despite asking reception on 2 occassions. The whole place looked very dirty, and felt dirty. Check out a day before, would rather have slept in the car! more

My wife and I came to Reno for the Rodeo, and the manager upgraded us to a Jacuzzi room. After a long hot day at a dusty rodeo, that bath sure felt good. The hotel is right by the airport, and they have a shuttle, so we didn't even need to get a car. There's also a casino and restaurants... more

They claim to have renovated their rooms. YUCK and double YUCK. I would never stay here again. I was concerned for my own safety and had to call the police when my car was broken into. Management didn't care apparently. He said it was out of his control. My husband came the next day and thankfully checked us out as... more

After driving all day from Colorado, we decided to go an extra couple of hours and get all the way to Reno instead of where we had made reservations to stop. We called several hotel chains and found that because of several conventions many were booked up. However the operator for the travelodge chain informed us that they had a... more

Guy at front desk had NO custumer service skills. Hair dryer in room was broken, and when the room service came through... they kept forgetting to leave towels. Accidentally forgot something in my room, and tried to find it only a couple hours after I checked out. Maids did NOT turn in, therefore, I feel that this stuff was taken... more

I had to unexpectedly spend the night in Reno with a dog. This place accepted pets, so I made a reservation over the phone. (Got the number out of the phone book). Should have known there would be a problem when it took over 15 rings for someone to answer. When I pulled up, it looked ok. Not fancy, but... more

I don't expect much for this price range. But I do want a safe, clean, comfortable room, and when I book a national chain, I expect at least that much. On the plus side, the room was clean. On the minus side: 1. Construction seems fairly new, but of the insta-shoddy variety. It gets cold in Reno in the winter,... more

I think the description of "Armpit of Reno" sums this place up well. The bum on the steps across from the elevator should have been my first clue. I can say the room was clean and the airport shuttle was timely, but I felt unsafe through the evening as guest partied in the hallways, doors slamming and things breaking, AND... more

What a pit. The photos are truly deceiving. Their ad said newly renovated but that must have been the shower curtain rings. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a dog peeing in front of the hotel. The entire front casing was off our air-conditioner. A child could have easily stuck his/her hand in there and been seriously hurt! There were... more
