My husband and i love to travel and we have recently discovered Cape May. We love shopping, sun bathing and going to great restaurants and Cape May has the best of all these things. We especially loved the Bacchus we have stayed at several other Inns and this was one of our favorites. The Innkeepers are very entertaining and welcoming... more

Terrific stay. Maybe not the fanciest, but very comfortable, clean and the innkeepers, John and Lisa were great. Extremly helpful, won't let you do a thing. I asked for a rag to wipe off a bike seat one morning, and he darted out of the house, wiped the seats of all the bikes, and the helmets in about 3 seconds... more

I just noticed this site and as a veteran Bacchus Inn client, felt duty-bound to say a few things. I have stayed with John and Lisa 3 or 4 times....4 I think! For clean freaks....the housekeeping is impeccable. Each room has private heat/AC controls for those looking for this feature. The location is really prime Cape May. It is on... more

My girlfriend and I are graduate students. We stayed here during our break last year and decided to come back this past weekend. The place the great. We stayed in room #3 both trips. We noticed a lot of little improvements since our last stay. Our room had new amenities and we just stayed there in the fall. The bathroom... more

We enjoyed our short stay at the Bacchus Inn tremendously. The room was nicely appointed, the inn-keepers were gracious and welcoming hosts and the service was very nice. The Inn is very centrally located--within walking distance of all of Cape Mays attractions and in a beautiful old home. Hopefully, we will return soon. more

I recommend this B&B. It may not be as fancy as some of the others in Cape May, but it had charm. They also have a sister B&B across the street- The Brass Bed inn-which is where they serve breakfsat (so check that one out too) The perk I enjoyed was the 4pm wine and cheese. It was nice. Everyone... more

Our first time at a bed and breakfast and it was everything we hoped for. The inn was immaculate and Lisa and John were great hosts. We would definitely return. Loved the wine & cheese in the afternoon and the rockers on the front porch. more

Our weekend away was everything we had hoped for! The house was beautifully decorated and so clean. The room was comfortable and the breakfasts were fantastic! We really loved lounging on the roof deck. John and Lisa were wonderful hosts. Can’t wait to come back! more

Our first stay in Cape May was wonderful, thanks in part to the Bacchus Inn. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was by far the best part. The challah french toast and fresh berries were delicious! The Bacchus Inn was a great place to stay. more
