We were delighted that we chose The Chocolate Turtle as our "home base" for a week in central New Mexico. The location was wonderful, convenient to the Albuquerque area but away from the city. Dallas and Nancy are delightful hosts and made us feel pampered. We'll never forget the delicious breakfasts each morning outside on the patio with the beautiful... more

What a wonderful stay we had recently at the Chocolate Turtle!! We had the pleasure of staying for six nights, using it as our base as we explored the region. The Sandia room was beautiful, spacious, and a cozy place to retreat after long days of exploring. Snacks, cold drinks, and homemade cookies were available throughout each day and evening,... more

This small, unpretentious charmer is to my tastes everything a B&B should be. Close enough to be convenient to everything Albuquerque has to offer but just enough off the beaten path to provide a real break from a busy day of shopping or sightseeing. There's no better way to start a day than by enjoying one of Nancy's wonderful breakfasts... more

We have stayed at many B&B's over the years and the Chocolate Turtle ranks at the very top. it is small, friendly and the breakfasts are to die for. We enjoyed the other guests so much that some mornings we had to pull ourselves away to go about our business of seeing New Mexico. We were there for 6 nights... more

What a wonderful discovery in the Land of Enchantment. The Chocolate Turtle is a truly SW appointed B & B with a wonderful view of the Sandia's where you can see the beautiful "watermelon" sunset. Dallas and Nancy are the perfect hosts, with great insight into restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. And to top this great B & B off, breakfasts... more

Outstanding hospitality! Great location, lovely accommodations, delicious breakfasts on the patio - never the same entree twice! The hosts are friendly, welcoming and helpful in planning excursions. Lovely setting, wildlife, flowers and southwestern decor all add to the ambiance. Delicious chocolate turtles, too! We'll stay longer next time. more

The Turtle is a small B & B with four guest suites. Dallas and Nancy Renner are the owners and hosts. They are knowledgable about the area and most helpful in restaurant choices. They are hands on. We had a superb breakfast both days during our stay. Breakfast was served on the lanai at 8:30 in the morning at one... more

We were blessed with the opportunity to stay at the Chocolate Turtle on the first night of our six day vacation to New Mexico. Due to many issues with our flights from San Antonio and then from Dallas to Albuquerque, we didn't arrive as early as we had hoped, but once we finally got there, the place was fantastic! The... more

We spent our 30th anniversary at Dallas & Nancy's wonderful Chocolate Turtle B&B. Our room, the Sandia, was lovely. Bright, sunny, and colorful. The room has its own small private patio. Our breakfasts and breakfast companions were fabulous! The owners attention to detail and knowledge of their beautiful area is incredible. We will be back ! Claire & Robert Musick... more

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Chocolate Turtle B and B. I was traveling with my mother and my daughter and we all were so happy with the accomodations and the innkeepers who were absolutely amazing. Everything was done with great care and attention to detail. The food was excellent and I can't say enough wonderful things about the... more
