The Beach Lodge was in a stunning location, with beautiful gardens in amongst ruins and glorious outlooks from nearly all the cabins. Spent a week at the Hakuna Matata after our safaris. We were exhausted when we arrived. The management and staff were the highlights. We stayed in the Hakuna Matata Beach Lodge for 6 days in December and would recommend it to anybody! I travel a lot (Every continents including Antarctica in 2007…) and this has got to be one of the best places I have been to! The hotel is magically set in the ruins of a Sultan’s Palace overlooking the Indian Ocean.... more
