It all depends on you and the purpose of your trip. I went to Aruba to meet up with an old friend and hang out with his nephew who is on the island. We are both 30 yr. old guys who were looking to get away from the cold and needed a place to sleep after a day/night of snorkeling,... more

We have been in Blue Village in February 2008. We did not expect any luxuries, but Blue Village is the worst what we have ever seen. The accouterment and furnishing is the last one. You have to ask for simple things like an ashtray or coffe-machine. There is no hot water in the kitchen, no bung in the discharge, the... more

It is certainly a "budget" hotel although we were paying 150$/night for a 1 room suite. The bar is alright with some activity every night, the pools are ok, and the staff is usually helpful (although they refused to give us more than one clean towel at a time and our room was only cleaned once in the 6 nights... more

I've been staying at ABV several times a year since 2004. They have gone through several upgrades and any negative review prior to 2006 should not be considered accurate. The staff is great, the food at the bar is great, rooms have had a makeover and that project is ongoing, lobby is new and they now have a very large... more

we stayed in a 2 room appartement with 2 adults and 3 childern (11,12 en 15) en we really liked it. It is quiet en clean. It is simple and basic but if you know that in advance there is no problem at all. The personel is very kind, there is a little but very nice, cheap restaurant. The only... more

I booked 1 week in ABV for the first week of my holiday and I have to say that it's was very bad, I only stayed 2 nights and moved away to a proper holiday resort, The staff was helpfull but the "studio" we had was horrible with old furniture and everything old, 75$ a night was a lot of... more

Our search for Aruba Blue Suites took us through some of the not so developed (not touristy) parts of Aruba, and upon our arrival, we spotted several goats from the neighborhood munching on the lawn by the pool. Oh no, I said to myself, what have I gotten us into. Don't you dare tell your father about the goats dining... more

We stayed at the Aruba Blue for 9 nights. from 12/28/05-1/7/05 The staff was very, very friendly and helpful. The Large room was very clean and had all we needed except hot water. When I asked at the desk I was told to take my shower late in the day and the sun would warm up the water by then.... more

We needed another night after a week at our timeshare to catch a flight the next day and the "Blue" was the only room we could find. Most of the other inhabitants were college kids (mostly Europeans) and very willing to sacrafice basic comforts for low price. Eveyone was nice, including the staff. But I would not suggest anyone, unless... more
