We travelled a great distance from Vancouver, Canada. It was extremely disappointing to be treated so poorly. We were not allowed to have any water or snack in our room. The Chateau is set in beautiful grounds and rooms decorated in a unique fashion, although some areas still require work. Bring your own supplies of refreshments or expect to walk into town as directed by Management - 15 minutes of pouring rain in our experience. Good place if you don't want anything to eat or drink. Like a locked door and love to have dogs at breakfast. Mind you breakfast is very hit and miss. Stayed for a night during a visit to the Loire valley. We wanted to stay in an actual chateau - and that's exactly what we got. The whole hotel has been very nicely decorated and everything was very high quality and extremely clean.
