We were deciding between Tree Elle and the Observatory Resort. We chose the the Observatory Resort and this was also a better location because tree elle was a long way back near walpole. You can do the Gloucester tree and the tree top walk on the road to Denmark without staying there. The observatory resort lies beautifully in the hills.... more

Our family stayed in a motel style room from June 3 to 5. The room was spacious and clean, and the reasonably large bathroom looked almost brand new . My wife and I stayed at the Denmark Observatory for two days in early May. The Hotel is situated about 3km from Denmark. A short drive and pretty easy to find. We drove around South Western Australia just after the Easter rush. A Perth based travel agent managed to get us some great hotel deals, but also a couple of dogs.
