We have just returned from seven days at the GBP Tulum with a party of 5 from June 23rd to June 29th. The resort was respectable in many ways, but did have some misses: The Good: Hotel Check in staff: The staff was very good, despite the write ups found here. Though they certainly won’t be mistaken for stand up... more

My Fiance' and I stayed at Gran Bahia Principe Tulum. We had a great time. But we do have a few suggestions for future travelers. We stayed in villa 23 and it was a really long walk from everything. So try to stay in a villa closer to the main part of the resort if you can. Also, take BUG... more

I stayed at the resort in July 2007 and loved it so much I booked another trip there for August 2008. The resort is beautiful and clean. The staff is so friendly. The food is good, and I am a very picky eater. I love that you are able to use the other hotels in the complex as well. We... more

I will give my two cents worth of appraisal to help those planning their visit here. 1. Grounds:-they are beautiful, stunning infact. The property, gardens, grounds... more

The hotel is beautiful from the OUTSIDE. When you get there you'll think it's very nice. But once you settle into it you'll see the real picture. The rooms were not clean the first night we were there we found a huge roach in the closet. I was so grossed out! Then to our surprise the second night we were... more

Had a great time at the GBP, stayed for 2 weeks from 27January. The resort is really big, but we mostly walked everywhere for the first couple of days to get our bearings, which helped enormously. The restaurants were all pretty good, the best a la carte was definately the Japanese, with the show cooking - brilliant. Also the wine... more
