I stayed at the Ethorpe for two nights recently. Whilst it certainly is clean and the desk staff are friendly, and the building has character, £119 per room excluding breakfast is a lot to pay for just a (reasonably sized ensuite twin room with a desk and wardrobe but no armchair) , there is no residents lounge, lobby, or bar... more

My first visit to England. I stayed at the Ethorpe hotel with my best significant for 6 days and nights. Very clean, the service is great. Very welcoming front desk and staff in general are very helpful and nice. The pub is GREAT the best fish and chip I ever tasted. The afternoon seating in the garden is most relaxing... more
