We have just enjoyed a fantastic weekend at the Knoll the only disappointment was we only had time for a fri/sat night stay! Upon arriving we were shown to our room on 1st floor with four poster bed and ensuite with corner bath (overhead shower too),the room was very clean and bed very comfortable. Stayed here two nights last weekend. Lovely friendly staff. bedroom was clean, nicely decorated. Good quality bedding, towels and robes. Bathroom obviously recently renewed and all toiletries were of good quality. Flat screen TV and DVD player in the room along with tea/coffee making things. Breakfast was delicious. The Knoll is an 8 bedroomed B&B just to the South West of Lake Windermere in the Lake Distirct.
