A fantastic guest house in a great location, very peaceful with a couple of pubs within walking distance. Room was large and absolutely spotless with some nice personal touches. Friendly hosts with good knowledge of the area, with maps and guides available to borrow. The breakfasts were outstanding as were the views from the breakfast room, the hot buttered raisin... more

High Fold Guest house is in a great location with lovely country views yet only 3 miles from Windermere. The place is spotlessly clean throughout. The breakfasts are excellent. The proprietor is a gentleman who is friendly and helpful. Great value for money, we were very impresed and are sure to return soon. more

This place is great for exploring the area. The hosts are friendly and very knowledgeable about the local area and particularly, local walking routes. A large selection of books are available, providing details of the area. Good choice for breakfast. Our room was very comfortable, warm and clean. Plenty of parking.
