If you come to this hotel,especially in the rainy season, come expecting a rain forest experience. There will be animal companions in your bathroom, especially at night. If it rains you will hear it. Spent one night in one of the rainforest lodges in the middle of the rainforest. Absolutely fantastic place. The pool was pleasant and the restaurant was good too. The room itself certainly looked impressive - but it was very warm and humid when we there and the ceiling fan was no match for the weather. I slept very badly indeed... more

Ok, you have to bear in mind where you are. You're in the middle of a rainforest. With this being said, there are going to be bugs, animals (scary birds!! a cool lizard outside our bathroom window!), etc. hanging around the "hotel grounds."
