Agree with the majority of reviews that this is a fabulous hotel with extremely skilled and friendly staff. It's a 2 min walk to the city centre so the location is great too. I was in Manchester with colleagues on business. The hotel was booked for me. I expected another "samey" city centre business hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was huge and well apponted; the staff very attentive (tongue in cheek I'd say overly attentive!) We went to this hotel as a treat and it was fantastic, they upgraded our room to a riverside view without us even asking. It is in a good location, a bit difficult to find, but central when getting a taxi to the centre. We had afternoon tea and then breakfast in the room and you got loads to eat.... more
