After reading the previous reviews i was filled with dread and fear on arriving at the hotel but was surprised when i got there and found it to be not that bad. The receptionist was friendly and the check in took no time at all, We were given a room on the 2nd floor at the side of the hotel.... more

Terrible. We booked via Late Rooms 4 months in advance and specifically requested a non-smoking double room with travel cot for 2 nights. We arrived at the hotel to find that they had a booking for 1 night only. After much delay and confusion (no apologies) we were given a really grotty smoking room with yellow stained ceilings which smelt... more

My daughter & I arrived & were given a twin room (as requested )which is definately in need of an update. On checking one of the beds I noticed the sheets used by the previous guest had not been changed. After complaining I was given the choice of a change of sheets or change of room. I asked for change... more

I recently stayed at this hotel with a colleague as part of business trip to the Isle of Grain. I booked the hotel using booking.com and was very low cost at £56 for bed and breakfast per room. The hotel is an ex-military hotel and it shows in the layout. The receptionist was very polite and helpful, making check-in very... more

There is an old adage "what you pay is what you get" I disagree because I paid very little for this hotel room and expected very little but was still disappointed. I'm not going to go in to detail as I would be here all night but would just like to say it was so bad that my normally meticulous... more

Stayed here for just one night -thankfully. Room really just meeting the basic need to rest overnight. Expect no more. Not even a picture on the bedroom wall. Faded bedding (is it clean?) View of coutyard looks like a prison. Oh dear. Needs some urgent TLC more

The first room we were put in was not clean at all, broken filler between tiles on bathroom floor, which you could easily have cut your feet on, plug missing, dirty windows, dirty cracked walls etc. In general not clean at all. However, the second room we were put in was quite frankly filthy. Dead moths stuck to walls, windows so... more

we went to this hotel with school, and i must say, i didn't like it at all. the boss was unfriendly to us, but very friendly to the teachers. what we got for breakfast were two little pieces of bread, which became smaller and smaller every day; we could chose between two sorts of confiture and butter on our bread.... more
