Stayed one night at Cradle Mountain Lodge in a lovely Spa Cabin booked through wotif at a discounted rate making it very good value. The cabin was situated in a quiet location and felt very private even though it was in a cluster of others. The private verandah was a decent size and looked out over bush which was very... more

We booked through wotif.com and got a pencil pine cabin for around $230. Rooms had a fire and were spacious, no bath but a lovely big bed and a CD player. Breakfast and dinner were both excellent. This was the best place we stayed in Tasmania. Very handy for access to the national park. more

We just had the most wonderful mini-trip of a lifetime. See my trip report for full details. We (Mum, Dad, and two kids 12 and 10) spent Easter at Cradle Mountain Lodge, taking advantage of the early Easter this year we duly received mild, warm weather, and the Lodge did not disappoint. We had a "Pencil Pine" cabin which was... more

What a magical place. I stayed in a pencil pine lodge for one night with my three daughters. We did all the walks around the lodge which even the 9 year old enjoyed. The cascades, birds and wildlife are amazing. We walked up to the visitors centre which was well worth it, but I would recommend going there early in... more

My husband and I stayed in a spa cabin for three nights on our honeymoon and absolutely loved this place. The staff and sservice were at all times were highly professional and friendly, the breakfasts were abundant and very tasty, the restuarant was fairly priced for the serving size and high quality of food and the surrounds were wonderful. We... more

We stayed at Cradle Mountain Lodge for one evening in a pencil pine cabin. The cabins look very old from the outside but once you enter the living area/bedroom it looks very nice and modern. The room contained a gas fireplace but had a stack of wood next to it, I thought this was unnecessary. The only downside to the... more

We stayed at Cradle Mountain Lodge for 2 nights in a Spa Suite Cabin to celebrate our 1 year Wedding Anniversary and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked in the door, the staff's attention to detail was superb from turning down the bed each night, providing fresh canapes each evening and always being cheery and helpful.... more

We recently spent 3 nights at Cradle Mountain Lodge and were very impressed with all this facility had to offer, not to mention the beautiful surrounds of where it is located. We stayed in a King Billy Suite which was absolutely delightful. The room was extremely spacious, clean and very well equipped. The decor was modern and comfortable, with a... more

My husband and I stayed in the King Billy Suite for our 20th Wedding Anniversary in July. The cabin was very comfortable and luxurious. We loved the outdoor spa in the light snow. The restaurant and bar cellar was fantastic- although we would have liked a broader menu. The tavern also provided wonderful meals. The environment was outstanding- animals ,wildernesss... more

We stayed at Cradle Mountain Lodge for five nights. We flew into Devonport airport and was met by Steve who drove us through the mountains to the lodge (about an hour and a half). The road is very twisty and hilly so if you suffer from travel sickness be prepared! Steve pointed out all the sights along the way and... more
