Clean, charming and peaceful it is so relaxing. Nothing fancy, no massages or workout rooms, you don't need any of that. The rooms are so nicely decorated and the staff is great. Three restaurants with awesome food, you never have to leave. Wild boar and ostrich were two of the specials when we were there, but there was steaks and... more

My family and I stayed at the Inn (in Lititz, PA) on a hot August weekend. We stayed in the room known as the apartment (# 312). The room was very large (two bedrooms, two baths, a living room and a kitchen). However, the room was run down and dirty. The showers in both baths were unusable (nobody in my... more

Having read the first review I am shocked. I held my wedding at the General Sutter Inn earlier this summer and I have nothing but great reviews to give. I love how the servers did not rush me in serving the food and allowed my guests and me to take some time between the courses to relax and socialize. The... more

I highly advise against patronizing this inn and the obnoxious current management. My family recently held an event in the ballroom and received horrible service and mediocre food. The management was completely unapologetic and made my family pay the 18% service fee despite the fact that the overloaded servers were serving two banquets simultaneously, making the service at our event... more

This is a charming, historic country inn. The antique-furnished room was clean and neat. We had the twilight dinner special in their 1764 Restaurant, which was delicious and reasonably-priced. Drinks in the hotel bar were also reasonably-priced. The price for the room included a full breakfast. Unfortunately, we stayed here on a very hot July day and the air conditioner... more

My family stayed at the General Sutter Inn for 2 nights. It was our first time there at the inn. Parking is in the rear with limited space but you are allowed to park near a school. Parking on main street is metered. The ambience was very nice. My family stayed in a suite with two bedrooms a sitting room,... more
