It's nearly a year since we last had a break at Bedruthan Steps Hotel and it still remains a good place for young families to visit and unwind. The food in the restaurant has improved from last year but the service is still unpredicatable. We complained to hotel management the second night because of the attitude of some of the... more

Hi, we stayed at the Bedruthan Steps Hotel last weekend. It promised to be child friendly and somewhere the children were put first. We did not feel this at all. The breakfast was extremley basic, hardly any fresh fruit for the children and the toast was burnt. A little boy hurt himself on the coffee making machine in the main... more

We stayed for the weekend in April out of school holidays with two children aged 8 and 5. Room: very good with 2 lovely beds with cotton sheet for the children and a great King Size bed for us. Fantastic sea view - don't get a room without it! Restaurant: Loved it! The adults dinner was great and the staff... more

We stayed at Bedruthan Steps during the April half term break . We had read previous reviews which describe Bedruthan Steps as a haven for parents and their children, I can only say that we were not disappointed. Bedruthan Steps does children very well, they are able to relax throughout the hotel. The beach is on the doorstep. The spa... more

I booked this hotel for a last minute weekend getaway with my wife and 18 month old daughter. First comment would be that it wasn't especially easy to find on the internet and they might need to better optimise their web-site for internet search engines. That said, they are apparently very busy all year round so maybe they don't need... more

We'd just had our third child, so wanted a break from the routine which isn't easy when you've already got a 2 and a 4 year old in tow. This place was superb - it doesn't look much from the outside, but once inside you realise it's perfect for kids. There's a central bar come seating area with a huge... more

After trawling online for weeks before finally making a decision where to go for a late autumn break with my husband and 7 month old baby, we finally went for Bedruthan Steps Hotel with a sea view room. It had everything there that we needed for our baby which really minimised the stuff we packed - they pureed food for... more

This was a fantastic hotel, brilliant for the children, and completely relaxing for the adults. There was nothing that was too much trouble - the staff met every request with a smile and were fantastic with the children. It may help that it was November and therefore off season - I'm not sure I would want to go in peak... more

5 stars - the kids had to be dragged away crying, the wife is already saving for next year and I felt like I had had a week's break in only 4 nights. Everything that can be done to make harassed parents lives easier on holiday with kids up to about 7 years old has been thought through very well.... more

From the exterior of the hotel, it looks more like a 1970s office property rather than a contemporary hotel, but step inside and everything changes! I was overly impressed as to how sumptious the interior of the hotel was - absolute bliss!!! Very clean, very cosmopolitan. Everyone reviewing here is banging on about it being a family hotel, but I... more
