What can you say when there's so much filth? Our check-in was speedy and prompt only to find that our room had not been cleaned and the housekeeping staff were unable to say when it would be cleaned. Just got back from our weekend trip to see University of Pitt. The hotel was in walking distance to campus but in a crummy part of the downtown. Check in was smooth and lobby was nice. Wyndham is a very poorly managed chain. Some properties are excellent while some are terrible. The University Place Wyndham in Pittsburgh is in the bottom half for sure. Stayed here for business. The "non-smoking" room smelled of smoke, the phone was broken, the toilet flushed every 3 minutes by itself, and the shower curtain was full of blood stains. Yuch!!! don't stay here. more
