First the hotel staff booked another person in my room after they booked me. So I had a stranger walk into my room and luckily I had gotten back early into my room. Then the hotel charges me for a 2 night stay instead of one. They I tried to dispute this, and the hotel clerk lost his temper and... more

We booked a stay here based upon the good experiences that we had at other Hampton Inns. However, this was simply the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. My husband and I were traveling with our 15 mo old son and my parents to see my Father's mother who lives in North Charleston. We knew that... more

I stayed here for three days recently for a meeting. The room was clean and comfortable, no sign of bugs. The breakfast was good with a nice selection. The parking lot was good although if you don't know where to turn off to get to this hotel you will miss it. It has a nice selection of restaurants nearby which... more

Found roaches in the bathroom of third floor room, alive and dead. Colleagues share similar experiences with this hotel. Definately not up to Hampton standards. more

We stayed here for three nights, visiting Charleston. Although the Hotel ist a few miles away from Domwtown you can reach all the attractions in a simple way and within a couple of minutes. The prices for three nights, 74 $ for each night, has been very reasonable, it was much less than in Downtown Charleston. Our Room was spacious... more

Although the rooms are a little small, the hotel was clean and the staff went out of their way to give advice, directions and help in any way they could. The continental breakfast had good pastries, sausage and biscuits, etc and was well stocked. Although there was some airport noise, I would rather stay here than the high priced places... more

Great Hotel for a low budget. Only ten minutes to downtown by car. Room was clean and very nice, bathroom really big. Breakfast was tasty with lots of choices. The service was great, clerks very polite and helpful more

This hotel is an OK place for a day or two. Staff is very friendly but hotel and rooms are rather dreary. Housekeeping was fine except for mildew in shower. I don't know why hotel can't invest in a bottle of chlorine bleach and remove that. Breakfast is OK but not memorable. Unlike most of their competition in the area,... more

The rooms are tiny. This is okay for 2 people, but any more and you'll be cramped. The place is very clean. The night ladies are very professional. The guy behind the desk in the morning was lost. The pool is adequate. Military planes are taking off constantly, but I only noticed when I was outside. The free breakfast had... more

Hampton Inn was ok but don't take any teenagers. If any thing happens or goes wrong they will get blamed. The beds are the worst if you get a box bed. Rooms are only big enough for three people. more
