Perfect location for visiting the Glendalough area. We chose Pinewood Lodge for a number of reasons. We didn't rent a car, and it was easy to catch St. Kevin's Bus Service to Laragh. It was only a 10 minute walk to Glendalough National Park, and there was a sidewalk/pavement the whole way to the park. We went in the off... more

Overall, quite a nice B&B. The room was nice and well-kept, the proprietor was quite friendly, and they accepted credit cards (although with a slight charge). We did have a slight issue with the noise, however. Because we had just flown in that day, we were very tired and went to bed quite early. This was not the easiest of... more

We recently returned from a trip to Ireland and the Wicklow mountains, staying at the Pinewood Lodge, a bed and breakfast in Laragh.
