Stayed at the hotel many years ago and decided at the last minute to visit over New Year. After booking was concerned to read the comments on Tripadvio sor. Yes, the hotel is old fashioned. Our superior room was clean, the bathroom recently refurbished had good quality products which were generously replaced and our room although rather small was welcoming.... more

Having stayed at many fine "country house hotels", and looking for somewhere to stay in or near St. David's, we made enquiries for a late booking in the city. We discovered the only accommodation available was at Warpool Court. We made our booking based on encouraging reviews and its listing in many of the quality hotel guides, which have never... more

We chose to stay at Warpool Court having been recommended by friends who had raved about the location, food and quality of service. They were not wrong. On arrival the front of house staff made us feel relaxed and at ease after our four and a half hour journey. Our bedroom overlooked the stunning St Bride's Bay and the hotel's... more

We were forced to come to this hotel, after booking another hotel in St Davids which was terrible. The rooms are very expensive for what they are - they are dated, tired, with cheap, unstylish fixtures and fittings. For £130 per night per room B&B it is very poor value for money. The location is beautiful, however, and the reception... more

St Davids Pembrokshire: Warpool Court Hotel I stayed here with Footpath Holidays A thirty something German member of our party likened the hotel to an old-people’s home - a fair judgement. While the location is enviable and the food was good (if a touch nouvelle cuisine for my liking) the service was very poor indeed. Our small group of seven... more

The Warpool is an excellent country hotel to have a lovely idyllic weekend close to the sea. It is maybe a tad overpriced for the area, but it really is by far the best thing in St. Davids and they obviously have a regular clientele so they can get away with the prices. There were lots of people staying there... more

My wife and I stayed at Warpool Court Hotel over the Christmas period. We had considered visiting Pembrokeshire for some time and were impressed by their website. From the moment we walked through the door we knew we had struck gold. We were warmly greeted by the friendly reception staff who remained discreetly attentive throughout our stay. When we were... more

I stayed at this hotel in December, I realise, having previously stayed in Pembrokeshire at this time of year that the weather is not great so can make things look grim but in the wonderful frosty weather we had when i stayed at Warpool Court the place still looked, grotty, shabby and run down! The food and service were adequate... more

It is such a shame that when people feel so strongly about their stay that they do not air their views before they leave so that we have the opportunity of discussing it with them . Warpool Court has been upgraded to 80% by the AA (red star territory) for 2008.

Like a number of reviewers here I am surprised at the greatly contrasting views and although I marvel at the fact anyone could write a positive appraisal about this hotel it does go to show that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. I travel extensively on business and am privileged to be able to stay at some... more

The photographs on our website have, in general, been taken within the last three months and our tariff is clear for all to see. Our rates include dinner and we charge extra for the single occupancy of a double room. The comments made about views from the hotel are not contrived but those of independent and professional observers. We spend...

This is, to paraphrase the old football cliché, “a hotel of two halves” and that may account for what seems to be the complete polarisation in the reviews. I believe that it was converted to a hotel in the 1970s; the original building seems to have been extended at the same time – a small wing was added in a... more

In recent times we have played host to royalty, heads of state and a number of celebrities. Forward parties for these people do tend to carry out their research pretty carefully. The weekend following your stay we held a residential function for which people travelled from Oxfordshire and London. Our helipad was active and all rooms were occupied for up...
