Stayed at the Hyatt Place in March 08 and July 08 while driving to Florida with the older two kids. This is in a great location, Opry Mills Mall is close by, and the Opryland Hotel and Grand Ole Opry are right there, too. The rooms were so comfortable we didn't want to leave. There was lots of room, and... more

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Hyatt. The 1st time last year was a great expirence. This time however we got to our room and settled in to take showers, and had luke warm water. Called the front desk, and they said it was strange, and to give it a couple of hours..That it was maybe... more

Pros: *great proximity to Nashville attractions *cool, contemporary room design with sectional, minifridge, desk and wireless, 42" HD flat screen *plenty of free parking Cons: *ants in the bathroom *toilet seat was barely attached and bathroom was very small (door almost touched the toilet when opening and closing it) *air conditioning unit is right beside the bed, so whoever sleeps... more

We were pleased with our one night stay here on 7/12/08. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint was that the carpet was slightly stained & could have been vacuumed more thoroughly. Otherwise, no complaints with the cleanliness of the room. The TV was much larger than a usual hotel room. There was a large vanity area,... more

Hotel is located behind another hotel. You will either get a view of the parking lot and construction material or an RV lot. We could live without the view, but the overpowering moldy odor in our room was unacceptable. Although the bathroom appeared to be clean upon arrival, the sickening moldy odor required us to keep the door closed at... more

We needed accommodations for a wheelchair. The room was barely big enough to maneuver the chair (with help), and the shower was not wheelchair accessible. The staff was friendly, but still overworked with the bar tender acting as host, cook, and desk agent. The hotel itself is lovely, but needs better management. We expected more from a four star hotel. more

Stayed here while visiting the Friday and Saturday Night Grand Ole Opry. The rooms were spacious. Bathroom was small, but was clean and functional with plenty of towels and accessories. The vanity unit was situated adjacent to the bathroom in the bedroom, which was fine. Bed was really comfortable, as were the pillows. Continental Breakfast was more than adequate with... more

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a girls weekend. The staff were exceptionally friendly, but completely overworked. The front desk staff had to be the cook, maid, bell hop and reservations agents. Our room was below standards of a Hyatt. Upon opening the room, we instantly noticed the nasty stains in the carpet. It appeared that the... more

I had problems the moment I stepped into the hotel. I made my reservations online weeks in advance. When I arrived, they told me there were no rooms available. I showed them my reservation, they said, "We have your reservation, we just don't have a room available. Not a good way to start your week long stay. After that was... more

Convenient to Opryland, this hotel has same major pluses and negatives. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are big with a huge flat panel TV, wet bar, and refrig. The bathrooms are tiny. The breakfast bar is pretty basic, below average when compared to a Hampton or Holiday Inn Express. Our biggest complaint was the A/C is noisy... more
