I thought this hotel was fine. The elevator and common areas were a bit dated, but the location is good for business and the sheets and staff were very good to deal with. The good news is the rates that I got seemed to reflect the condition of the hotel. more

I am (was?) a big fan of Four Seasons, I have stayed at their hotels in New York, Paris, Budapest, Milan, Mexico City, Punta Mita, etc. They are always impeccable, food is always top notch, rooms and bathrooms are always nice but most of all, service is extremely good. Not in Houston. If you change the name of the hotel... more

Good service and fairly comfortable. But not the top rate experience you would expect from a Four Seasons. For example the rooms and bathrooms are not much better than other downtown hotels. The safe is not large enough for a laptop. There is no coffee machine in the room. The hotel is a bit more expensive than other downtown hotels.... more

I will agree with previous reviews that this hotel seems older then other Four Seasons and in need of renovations. Enter the lobby and you are surrounded by the lap luxury, circa 1985. The rooms are in the same shape. My chaise was tattered and the desk chair was coming apart. Surprisingly, the bed was not of the plush or... more

I stayed in this hotel 4 or 5 times over several months in early 08. The first couple of times resulted in Four Seasons type experience, although this hotel is smaller and somewhat more modest that other Four Seasons. Restaurant is great. Workout room is good with health club option nearby. It has all amenities expected. The last two visits... more

We recently spent several days at the Four Seasons Houston. All in all, this was a very nice experience and we would have no problem returning there. The room was completely clean and the housekeeping service was very good every day; the room was nice but a little bit older feeling, as compared to newer 4 and 5 star hotels.... more

I stayed here for a quick business trip. I had orginally booked a king room and when I checked in found that they were out of these rooms. I asked for an upgrade and received one no problem. The room was large and classically appointed but perhaps a bit past its prime. The bath was large and functional. My only... more

Stayed one night in a superior room. The front desk and concierge, valet, and town car service was excellent. Meal and service for lunch at Quattro was excellent. Room service breakfast was top notch. I had expected better quality bedding from a Four Seasons though. Also, it would have been nice if turndown service had left fresh soap, shampoo, etc.,... more

Went for a weekend. Spent two nights and ate at Quattro. 1. Valet VERY attentive and quick. Excellent in general 2. Lobby - Older styled. Apparently they are going to remodel this and their rooms soon 3. Check in - Very quick, professional and courteous. The staff saw our two small children and pulled out a cart with stuffed animals... more

There are two ways in which you can rate this hotel. The first is to base it off of a regular four seasons experience. The second, is to rate it based off of a four star hotel overall. If I was to rate this hotel based off of other four seasons properties, I would most likely rate it a high... more
