I've been there on the end of august 2008; very bad choice. I spent 30 mins of my first day to clean my room up. Handle of my room window broken from days, probably. I didn't have the courage to check the pool out. Breakfast room was dirty, especially the tables. We were expecting real continental breakfast (as promised on... more

I stayed here for three nights with my wife and two kids while visiting family in the area. I had my doubts about staying here because there are a lot of negative reviews, but the price was right. The rooms were large (I say rooms because after the first night, the toilet backed up and couldn't be quickly fixed so... more

Had I read the reviews, I never would have stayed here. However, we drove into Burlington on a whim, and stayed at the Travelodge. We got a room for 2 for a little over $50. The room was clean, spacious, and everything worked (wifi, heat, etc.). There was also a computer at the front desk. We didn't use the pool.... more

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary October 10 - 13, 2007. I'll start with the positives. The location of this hotel is wonderful. Close to many local attractions, shopping and restaurants. After a long trip getting to the hotel we just wanted to crawl in bed and sleep. I turned down the cover and immediately got grossed... more

When the bathtub drains are blocked, you know you have a problem. The beds are were so uncomfortable, I never got a good nights sleep. I could hardly drive my car the next day, my body hurt so much. We won't go back ever again. more

We had stayed at this Travelodge previously and found it fine. However, this trip was awful. The room was very dark and there were not enough lights, the mattress was lumpy, springs popping and uncomfortable. The blankets actually had burn holes in them, the towels were as skimpy as any I have ever seen, the water in the sink was... more

This hotel has gone from bad to worse. During a previous stay I was awoken by a man screaming in the parking lot. This went on for 30-40 minutes until the police arrived. When I asked about it the following morning I was told that it was none of my business. On my most recent stay I was put in... more

it was so bad we went to complain at the front desk that they just offered our money back without discussion! The TV did not work- the lazy boy chair had a cloud of dust if you tapped it - the bathroom sink facet fell apart in your hands! Highly not recommened- good place to catch a paracite! The free... more

I had previously stayed here 2 years ago and was pleased, and this time I was quite disappointed. On the second day my 4 year old stepped on a beer bottle cap in our room #155..not from us !The water pipes when the next door shower was on were so loud that we could not even hear our television, and... more

Stayed at the Travelodge Shelburne for one night in June 2006. I stayed for free by using my reward program points. I'm glad I stayed for free because I think they were charging over $125 for the rooms which is ridiculous. The hotel building is extremely old and outdated, as past reviewers commented. However, my room was large and clean.... more
