We stayed at El Club for two nights and were generally quite happy with it. It's true, as many other people have pointed out, that there are parties going on until late on weekends, but the rooms are in the far back of the building, and the noise level isn't really worse than at the average backpacker beach bungalow hangout.... more

When talking about El Club, it is primarily a drinking bar, and hotel second. El Club's primary business is sponsoring all night drinking parties that potential guests should inquire about.
